Spending a lot more time at home these days has given me opportunity to rediscover some old art files. When I came upon these pieces I did some years back - both whimsical "notions of motion" - I thought it would be fun to update them. And it was fun!
PROPEL is an abstract design inspired by old aeroplanes. It's a light, easy piece that suggests flight and levity. I've always thought this piece would present best in a big, bold size on a modern white wall.
AMBULATE is an abstract design with kicks, and marching figures (can you see them?) stepping lively across a charcoal background. This is one of my favourites – on a crisp white wall it pops!
